Deprecation: Social channel management

On August 28, 2019, Genesys removed social channel management. The removal date was initially set for July 10, 2019, but was postponed until August 28, 2019. Development of this feature was discontinued on April 3, 2019.
We are removing this feature to allow us to consolidate resources on other features.
This deprecation affects you if your organization uses social channel management to monitor Twitter activity. However, if you use ACD messaging for Twitter direct messages, this deprecation does not affect you. See documentation for ACD messaging.
If you intend to continue monitoring Twitter activity (tweets), then you can begin using one of our AppFoundry partners, such as HelpSocial.
