Ringing issues for alerting interactions


Note: This article applies to PureCloud Embeddable Framework, PureCloud for Chrome, PureCloud for Firefox, PureCloud for Salesforce, and PureCloud for Zendesk.

You either hear multiple ringings for alerting interactions or no ringing for alerting interactions.

You are using PureCloud alongside the client. When interactions alert, you hear ringing from both PureCloud and the client.

  1. Click Menu  > More .
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Notifications.

    The Notifications section appears.

  4. Select the Mute ringing for alerting interactions check box.

    Interactions now only ring in PureCloud.

You are currently only using the client. When interactions alert, you hear no ringing from the client. 

  1. Check the audio volume on your computer.
  2. Check the Notifications settings.
    1. Click Menu  > More .
    2. Click Settings.
    3. Click Notifications.

      The Notifications section appears.

    4. Clear the Mute ringing for alerting interactions check box.

      Interactions now ring in the client.
